Stephen Lineweaver, Production Designer
STEPHEN LINEWEAVER (Production Designer) is currently working with
Seth MacFarlane on the second season of the comedy show "Ted" for Universal. He'd collaborated with MacFarlane and Jon Cassar on the third season of “The Orville,” having previously worked with him on films "Ted," "Ted 2" and "A Million Ways to Die in the West," a comedy set in the wild west of 1880. Prior to "The Orville," he collaborated with George Gallo on the movie “The Comeback Trail” starring Robert DeNiro, Tommy Lee Jones and Morgan Freeman filmed in the spring of 2019. Other recent credits include "Million Dollar Quartet," a period television series drama on the birth of Rock and Roll directed by Roland Jaffe and "Central Intelligence," an action comedy staring Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson directed by Rawson Thurber and produced by Scott Stuber.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, he Production Designed for directors James L. Brooks and Cameron Crowe, "I’ll Do Anything," "Jerry Maguire," and "Singles" as well as "This Boys Life" for Michael Caton-Jones. Additional credits include "Role Models," directed by David Wain, "Blades of Glory," starring Will Ferrell; "The Spy Next Door," "Are We There Yet?" "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls," "Tommy Boy" and "City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly’s Gold."

Lineweaver’s early television work included working as a visual consultant with James L. Brooks on "The Simpsons" and "The Tracey Ullman Show" with two Emmy nominations and one win. Other early film projects included working as art director on Martin Scorsese’s "After Hours," Jonathan Demme’s "Something Wild," John Sayles' "The Brother From Another Planet" and "Dirty Dancing."
